Atlantic City casinos reopened in early July, but New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy prohibited indoor dining just days before they opened their doors. Casinos had to scramble to add this to their long list of protocols, but Joe Lupo, the president of Hard Rock Atlantic City, says they’re making the best of it. At the Hard Rock, outdoor terraces have become dining experiences. Other casinos are making similar changes, as the expanded protocols seem be working in attracting customers, albeit a tad younger than usual. Lupo spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros over the phone for an Atlantic City executive panel to be published in the September edition of Gaming Law Review.
