Phish beach concert and the return of the Atlantic City Air Show are highlights of summer at the Jersey Shore.
The four-piece band Phish swim onto the Atlantic City beach for a three-day series of concerts, Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 13-15. This is the fourth appearance by the legendary jam band, as previous performances were held at Boardwalk Hall and Bader Field. It will be the first time the band will play on the Atlantic City beach. The Phish concert last year was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the band’s tour was postponed to this summer. Along with the air show, the shore town is expecting hundreds of people this week.
The Atlantic City Air Show, “A Salute to Those Who Serve,” sponsored by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber and presented by GEICO, will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18. Tuesday will be a practice day, a great time to catch the warm up to this spectacular event.
