PartyPoker Awarded Czech Online Gambling License

PartyPoker has been licensed in the Czech Republic by the country’s Finance Ministry. The company had exited the country’s market in 2017. According to reports, Leo Tsoukernik of King’s Casino in Rozvadov will run the online poker room.

PartyPoker has received a Czech online gambling license and will re-open in the Czech Republic under partypoker.cz.

The license was issued earlier this month, but the portal still redirects players to another partypoker.com site. It’s not clear when the Czech portal will go live.

Following regulation changes in the country, PartyPoker left the Czech Republic in 2017.

According to calvinAyre.com, King’s Casino has previously hosted the PartyPoker Live and Millions tournament series.

The Czech Republic applies a 19 percent corporate tax, a 23 percent online sports betting revenue tax and a 35 percent online casino revenue tax.
