It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Tropicana Atlantic City is giving you more reasons to celebrate with a full schedule of holiday themed shows and events. From Tropicana’s annual free holiday musical light show in The Quarter and cheering holiday sing-along, to the elaborate Holiday Jubilee production show in the Showroom, and even a free holiday-themed light and sound show on Trop’s boardwalk façade, guests can take in the sights and sounds of the season everywhere on property on any budget.
The holiday season kicked off with Tropicana Atlantic City’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony in November. The Quarter will be magically transformed from a tropical oasis to a winter wonderland complete with a 35-foot-tall tree, indoor snowfall, and over 100,000 twinkling lights synchronized to festive music. The free Holiday Musical Light Show will play daily through December 27, 2018 every hour starting at noon.
The Trop will also host a Holiday Sing-Along on December 8, 2018 at 5 p.m. on the Boardwalk in front of the casino. Hosted by Lite Rock 96.9, this festive event is fun for the whole family. Sing along with the cast of Tropicana’s Jingle and the Oakcrest High School’s choir. Participants will enjoy complimentary Garces & Son coffee, homemade hot chocolate from Olón by Jose Garces, Mrs. Fields cookies, and popcorn from the IMAX Theatre at Tropicana. Guests who bring a new unwrapped gift for Atlantic County’s Toys for Kids Program will be entered for a chance to win a $250 Macy’s gift card.
The sing-along will feature popular holiday songs. The giant Multimedia Light & Sound Show video screens will display the song lyrics for guests to sing-along.
Keep up the holiday spirit and join the Trop as they countdown into the New Year and celebrate with an explosive firework spectacular on December 31 at 9 p.m. on the Boardwalk. The show, designed by Fireworks by Grucci, will be displayed from the beachfront and will include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations.
