
Two of award-winning Chef Jose Garces newest restaurants, Bar Olón and Okatshe, are now bringing guests two delicious happy hour specials at Tropicana Atlantic City. Unwind and enjoy a few post-work cocktails at Bar Olón or head to Okatshe for a late night happy hour after the sun goes down.
Bar Olón Happy Hour
Enjoy the modernized beach vibes and panoramic views of ocean as Bar Olón offers great food and drink specials during their all new happy hour available daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu features some of Chef Garces’ family recipes, with a modern twist, as well as unique takes on time-honored favorites from Olón. Food specials include $3 Anticuchos available in chicken, prawn or cauliflower, $4 empanadas in viento (cheese) or chicken and $5 guacamole made with avocado, roasted jalapeño and cotija cheese served with Taro chips.
Bar Olón serves as the foundation of Olón’s extensive beverage programming, including: a custom, double-sided tap with 16 draft beer selections; 35 beers by-the-bottle; 20 wines by-the-glass; 75+ wines by the bottle and 8 hand-crafted specialty cocktails. During happy hour, guests can enjoy $3 draft and bottle beers like Pacifico Clara, Jack’s Hard Cider, Presidente and Bohemia, along with $4 blanco or roja sangria and $5 vino blanco or vino rojo wines.
Happy hour specials are available in Bar Olón only from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Live entertainment is offered at Bar Olón from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Okatshe Late Night Happy Hour
Okatshe is Chef Jose Garces’ playful, modernized take on a traditional Japanese izakaya. When it comes to late-night eats, Okatshe is the place to be. Okatshe’s late night happy hour menu offers a selection of maki, small plates, saki and beer to choose from at a great price.
Okatshe serves a mouth-watering selection of maki and small plates available during late night happy hour for only $6. For sushi lovers, try a 6 piece California or Spicy Crunchy roll offered in tuna or shrimp, or a tasty Shrimp Tempura and Vegetarian Roll. Tsukemono, or assorted Japanese pickles, 5 spice ribs, chicken wings and edamame are also available for only $6.
Pair some sushi with $5 sake or $4 beers offered during Okatshe’s late night happy hour. Select sakes include Eiko Fuji Ban “10,000 Ways,” Shichi Hon Yari “Seven Spearsmen,” Yuki No Bosha “Cabin in the Snow,” and Kanbara “Bride of the Fox,” along with beers like Heineken, Kirin Ichiban and Lucky Buddha.
Okatshe’s late night happy hour menu is available on Friday’s and Saturday’s from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
