Caesars, William Hill, Launch Sportsbooks in Colorado

Caesars has partnered with William Hill U.S. to bring sports betting to the Isle Casino Hotel and the Lady Luck Casino, both in Black Hawk, Colorado.

When Eldorado Resorts merged with Caesars Entertainment, it set the stage for the first partnership between William Hill U.S. and the newly minted company, known as Caesars.

Under the agreement, both companies will develop long term relationships to expand sports betting. The latest offering brought six kiosks to the Isle Casino Hotel and Lady Luck Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado on July 24, according to CDC Gaming Reports.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our business in the state with these new kiosks,” said David Grolman, president of retail operations for William Hill U.S. “Our relationship with Caesars Entertainment allows us to engage with Colorado sports fans in a new and exciting way. With the recent return of professional baseball, we think the timing could not be better.”

William Hill expects to establish localized futures and odds aimed for the Colorado bettor. The company will also expand into mobile sports betting as soon as regulators approve. The goal is to have the sports betting app ready by football season.

Colorado launched sports betting in May with four sportsbooks and added two more mid-month. By June, the state had six mobile and one retail sportsbook in play, according to Sports Handle.
