One of Atlantic City’s most anticipated events, Thunder Over The Boardwalk, returns on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. This will be the 17th Annual Air Show featuring flybys by the military’s top planes and will kick off with a jump by the U.S. Army Golden Knights.
You can catch all the action from the beaches and Boardwalk of Atlantic City. This year will include the fantastic aerial acrobatics of U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds, Royal Air Force Red Arrows, as well as the GEICO Skytypers and the Miss GEICO Offshore Race Team!
But before all the action on Wednesday there will be two days of preliminary events.
Monday, August 19: Red, White, & Blue Beach BBQ
Join members of the military and Atlantic City Airshow performers at the opening ceremonies beach barbecue. The evening will be highlighted by a night jump from the United States Army Golden Knights. The event will take place at 6:30 PM at the Bellevue Avenue Beach in Atlantic City.Tickets are #35-$65.
Tuesday, August 20: Practice Day
The day before the main event there is a warm-up. A loose schedule of acts from approximately 11 am to 3 pm will circle and soar above the free beaches and Boardwalk of Atlantic City.
